Report: Three Spurs stars under the Italian microscope

According to a report from Italian news outlet Tuttosport, Juventus scouts were in attendance during Spurs’ 2-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday in order to run the rule over four players, three Spurs stars and one Liverpool player.

The report claims that the Serie A giants’ scouts were there to watch Son Heung-Min, Toby Alderweireld, and Christian Eriksen, along with Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah.

The Turin based club will reportedly continue to be active in the next few transfer windows as they look to further strengthen their squad.

Both Alderweireld and Eriksen are into the final year of their contract with Spurs and it as things stand it doesn’t seem like they are signing an extension with the club.

If Spurs are unable to cash in during the January window, they could lose them for free next summer.

Son, however, has a long term contract with the club, making any transfer for the South Korean unlikely for the moment.

Spurs Web Opinion

Juventus are famously known for signing players for free when they run out their contracts as they did this summer too with their signings of Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey. So it wouldn’t be surprising at all if they were looking to land both Eriksen and Alderweireld on a free at the end of the season. However, one would expect Levy will not allow that and look to sell them on the cheap in January.
