Report: Three Spurs summer signings now among top six earners at club

The Sun have now revealed the latest figures on the salary of the Tottenham Hotspur squad and the top ten spots are dominated by players who have arrived through the door in the last couple of years.

Unsurprisingly, Harry Kane still retains the top spot, taking home a salary of £200,000 per week, with Son Heung-min a close second at £192,000.

New signing Ivan Perisic is the third highest earner in the squad at £178,269 while Cristian Romero is next on the list at £165,000.

The fifth and sixth spots go to two other summer signings – Richarlison and Clement Lenglet, who take home £133,779 and £121,154 respectively.

The top ten is then rounded off by Dejan Kulusevski (£110,000), Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (£101,000) and Hugo Lloris (£100,000).

Yves Bissouma is 12th on the list, taking home a comparatively modest £75,251 per week while the contracts of Fraser Forster and Djed Spence are worth £66,890 per week and £21,500.

Spurs Web Opinion

The fact that the top 10-15 is dominated by players we have signed in the last couple of years, rather than long-serving players like Eric Dier and Ben Davies, shows how inflated player wages have become over recent years despite the economic impact of the pandemic.
