Report: Time period put on Sissoko’s injury – and it isn’t good

As if Tottenham Hotspur had not had enough bad news this week, here comes a little more.

Just a day after fans found out that Harry Kane would be out injured until early March, The Evening Standard now report that Moussa Sissoko will also be unavailable for a month.

The French midfielder pulled up while running down the wing against Man United on Sunday, and despite attempting to carry on, was forced off before half time.

The groin injury now leaves just Harry Winks as the only fit and senior central midfielder at the club, with Oliver Skipp also an option.

Sissoko has been a man reborn this season in a Spurs shirt, and his absence will be extremely missed on the pitch.

Tottenham will now be desperate to get the likes of Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama back from injury, with Mousa Dembele seemingly on his way to China.
