Tottenham Hotspur may have only sacked Mauricio Pochettino a matter of hours ago, but they already have their new man in charge in North London.
Jose Mourinho was officially announced this morning, entering his first managerial job since being sacked by Man United back in December 2018.
The Special One comes in with a huge amount of pedigree, reputation, and the silverware to back it up, although this will do little to soften the emotional blow of losing Pochettino.
The Sun have now revealed an updated list of the Premier League’s top-earning managers, and while Pep Guardiola topping the chart will surprise few, some may be shocked where Mourinho ranks.
Daniel Levy has chosen to shell out a reported £15m per year for the new manager, around half of what Pochettino earned at the same club.
Jose ranks above the likes of Jurgen Klopp and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, both on £7.5m, as well as Pellegrini (£7m), Emery (£6m), Lampard (£5.5m), and Rodgers (£5m).
