Report: Tottenham 22-year-old’s desire to leave this summer is ‘obvious’

ABC Sevilla have claimed (31/05/23 as relayed by Sport Witness) that Bryan Gil’s desire to seal a permanent move to Sevilla this summer is ‘obvious’.

What looked like a nightmare season for Bryan Gil at the start, with the winger struggling to get a look in at Tottenham under Antonio Conte, has turned out to be a memorable one for the winger since his return to Sevilla on loan.

Not only has he been a key part of the side and showcased his quality but he now also has a Europa League medal to show for his efforts, with the La Liga side overcoming AS Roma in the final of the competition on Wednesday.

It has certainly been a fairytale return to his boyhood club for the 22-year-old and it remains to be seen what the future holds for him.

ABC Sevilla have now claimed that the winger’s ‘wishes are obvious’ given his continuous ‘declaration of love’ for the Spanish side, who are, described as the ‘club of his life’.

The report asserts that even though Gil has not publicly announced his desire to continue at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium, it is evident that he wants to remain at the club next season.

It goes without saying that if the decision was solely up to Gil, he would choose to make a permanent switch to Sevilla. However, it remains to be seen if the La Liga club could afford a deal for the winger.

It is also quite possible that the 22-year-old could impress the new Spurs head coach in pre-season and become a key player for the Lilywhites during the upcoming campaign.
