Report: Tottenham agree deal to sell Harry Kane to Bayern Munich

The Athletic have reported that sources in Germany claim Spurs have agreed a deal to sell Harry Kane to Bayern Munich, pending the striker’s approval.

The report claims that Bayern sent a proposal worth more than €100m (£86.4m) to Tottenham, which was accepted on Wednesday by the North London club.

It is now up to Kane himself as to whether he wants to swap the Premier League, and pursuit of Alan Shearer’s goal record, for the Bundesliga this summer.

It is reiterated that Kane wanted his future to be resolved before Sunday’s game against Brentford, and it appears he has been handed the opportunity to do just that.

Harry Kane must now decide Spurs or Bayern

Although the Spurs striker is said to be enjoying life under Ange Postecoglou and had been leaning towards staying, Kane is into the final 12 months of his Tottenham contract.

The Athletic claim it is not clear how the forward will react to Tottenham accepting a bid for him.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I can’t imagine things would have gone this far if Kane wasn’t ready to make the move. It seems it’s time for Tottenham to bid farewell to their greatest-ever striker and start a new journey under Ange Postecoglou.
