Report: Tottenham among host of clubs interested in Championship star

Tottenham are one of a number of clubs interested in signing Middlesbrough star Isaiah Jones, according to TEAMtalk.

Jones has been a fixture in the Boro lineup this season making 32 appearances in all competitions from out wide (Transfermarkt).

The 22-year-old made a good impression during the shock win over Manchester United in the FA Cup, playing 118 minutes of the tie at Old Trafford earlier this month.

Jones’ displays under Chris Wilder appear to have put him firmly on the radar of a host of clubs, with TEAMtalk reporting that Tottenham are among the chasing pack.

The report claims that Spurs share their interest with all of Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Leeds, West Ham and Wolves.

Interest in Jones also extends across the continent with Atletico Madrid, Ajax, RB Leipzig, Lyon and Roma monitoring his progress this term.

A move for the wide-man could prove to be a challenging one after Boro recently tied him down to a long-term deal until 2025 (BBC Sport).

Middlesbrough have been a strong side in the Championship and Jones has featured in most of their matches this season. He is also at an age where he can still develop so it could be a viable option for Spurs to bring in if they feel his qualities are good enough.
