Report: Tottenham among those interested in Marseille centre-forward

Tuttosport have reported that Tottenham are among the clubs interested in Marseille centre-forward, Arkadiusz Milik, this summer (via Sport Witness).

The competition for the striker’s signature is said to be high this year, with Tottenham, Juventus, PSG and Atletico Madrid all interested.

Juventus are reportedly planning for replacements in case Cristiano Ronaldo leaves this summer and Milik is one of three they are looking at, along with Moise Kean and Donyell Malen.

TransferMarkt claim that the Polish centre-forward is currently worth around £20m.

However, the report does not reveal whether any of these clubs have actually opened talks with Marseille or the striker.

One would assume that Tottenham’s interest could hinge on whether Harry Kane remains at the club past the summer transfer window. Although, Milik was also linked with a move to Tottenham last summer as Spurs searched for a Kane back-up.

Milik played just 16 games for Marseille last season but racked up an impressive 10 goals and one assist during that time (TransferMarkt).
