Report: Tottenham among three clubs to contact agent of Ajax star

Tottenham Hotspur may soon be in the market for a new shot-stopper as Hugo Lloris ticks further into his thirties.

The Spurs captain is currently out injured until the new year after sustaining a dislocated elbow against Brighton in the Premier League.

Paulo Gazzaniga has proved to be an able understudy over the past couple of weeks, pulling off twelve saves against Liverpool and a couple of smart stops against Everton.

It may depend on how well the Argentine does over the next few months as to whether Daniel Levy feels an investment in a new keeper is necessary.

However, it has been reported in De Telegraaf that Spurs have made contact with the agent of Ajax star Andre Onana, who has impressed for the Dutch side over the last couple of seasons.

Paris Saint Germain and Manchester United are also said to have made similar contact.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Not the one for me. Wasn’t impressed when I saw him in the Champions League and would much rather put faith in Gazzaniga for a season first.
