Tottenham and Everton are in talks with Udinese to sign defender Rodrigo Becao, according to journalist Ekrem Konur.
Spurs are thought to be in the market for at least two centre-backs for Antonio Conte’s squad ahead of the new campaign (Football.London).
With a loan deal for Barcelona’s Clement Lenglet on the verge of being officially completed (Fabrizio Romano), another target has since appeared on the club’s radar.
Konur reports Spurs are in contact with Udinese about a potential transfer for 26-year-old Becao, who is also of interest to Everton.
It is explained the Brazilian centre-back will be available for £12 million this summer after three seasons with the Serie A side.
Tutto Udinese previously reported the pair were one of several clubs to have been keeping tabs on Becao after being impressed with his displays last season.
Becao joined I Friulani from CSKA Moscow in 2019 and has emerged as a dependable option in the heart of theirdefence.

Under contract for another two years, Becao has made over 100 appearances in all competitions for Udinese and missed just three league games for the club last term (Transfermarkt).
Spurs Web Opinion
Becao looks to be a cheaper alternative to fall back on if Tottenham are not able to achieve their main targets at centre-back this summer. He has played a lot of games in a short space of time for Udinese and he could be a decent option if all else fails.
