Report: Tottenham and Everton both keen on 14-goal striker

Uruguayan forward Diego Rossi is reported to be on the radar of both Tottenham Hotspur and Everton, according to The Telegraph.

Rossi is currently playing his football in the MLS for Los Angeles FC and is valued at around £10million.

The 23-year-old ended up as the MLS’ top scorer last season having scored 14 goals in 19 appearances.

The forward is yet to earn a senior cap for Uruguay, having played up to Under-23 level and is also attracted interest from Armenia, the country where his mother was born.

Tottenham are expected to be in the market for a new forward with Carlos Vinicius having returned to parent club Benfica following the expiration of his season-long loan deal in North London.

Everton recently decided to release Norwegian forward Josh King at the end of last season having only managed to find the back of the net on three occasions in 25 appearances in all competitions for the Toffees following his switch from Bournemouth in January (transfermarkt).
