Football Italia are reporting that Tottenham Hotspur are one of several Premier League clubs to have expressed an interest in signing Ronaldo Vieira.
Viera came through the Leeds youth set up and impressed for the Whites in the Championship before being snapped by Sampdoria in the summer of 2018.
While the 22-year-old had a difficult first season in the Serie A, he managed to get more games under his belt last season and showed glimpses of his quality.
The versatile midfielder, who can play a defensive role, box to box role, or as a number eight, is reportedly one of several players that Sampdoria want to cash-in on this summer as they look to raise funds.
The Serie A side have reportedly offered the youngster to Premier League clubs and it is revealed that Spurs are keen on snapping up the England Under-21 international.
The report asserts that Vieira could be available for around €10million (£9m) this summer but Tottenham face competition from the likes of Leeds, West Ham, Burnley, Leicester City, Southampton, and Everton for his signature.

I suspect that this is a case of Sampdoria and Vieira’s agent trying to drum up interest in the midfielder, seeing as they are looking to sell him to the Premier League. After successfully completing the signing of Hojbjerg, we are fairly well-equipped in the central midfield area and I do not see where Vieira fits in.
