Report: Tottenham are expecting transfer offer from PL rival – Not Man United

According to talkSPORT, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is expecting an offer from Chelsea for Harry Kane.

The report explains that Kane has already been in Chelsea’s thoughts over recent months as the Blues are on the lookout for an experienced centre-forward this summer.

It is revealed that the possibility of an offer for the Tottenham man has been boosted by Mauricio Pochettino’s impending arrival at Stamford Bridge.

The report reveals that Pochettino has a very good relationship with Kane from the five and a half years the pair spent together at Spurs and the 51-year-old now wants to reunite with the England captain at West London.

However, talkSPORT add that Levy has no intention of selling Spurs’ talisman to another English club, let alone a London rival.

This report comes on the back of an update from Sky Sports earlier this week, which claimed that the Tottenham chairman has no intention of selling Kane this summer irrespective of whether the striker signs a new deal.

The publication added that Manchester United have no intention of getting into a tug-of-war with Levy and thus, the onus is on the striker to push for a move if he wants to leave this summer.

Spurs Web Opinion

This is a complete non-starter as Levy would not consider selling Kane to Chelsea and the striker would himself be aware that a move to Stamford Bridge will destroy his legacy at Spurs.

Manchester United remain the only realistic destination for the 29-year-old this summer.
