Report: Tottenham are eyeing a move for teenager who is considered one of the best 

HITC have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are one of a whole host of European giants eyeing a summer move for Georgian starlet Vakhtang Salia.

Salia has only made six senior appearances for Dinamo Tbilisi, scoring two and assisting two others, but the 16-year-old is already said to be turning quite a few heads across the continent.

The report says that the teenager is considered by many scouts to be one of the best prospects in the world and could potentially even be fast-tracked into the Georgian national side for this summer’s Euros.

Tottenham face plenty of competition for Vakhtang Salia

According to HITC, Spurs are one of the clubs alert to Salia, with the Lilywhites alleged to have watched him this summer.

However, they are far from the only ones to do so, with the versatile forward also said to be on the radar of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United.

In addition, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are also alleged to be keeping an eye on the Dinamo Tbilisi.

However, the publication adds that as things stand, it is Manchester City and Arsenal who are leading the race for the teenager.

It looks like there is going to be a huge battle for Salia’s signature this summer and his value could potentially rise significantly if he shines in the Euros.

Tottenham should be able to make a persuasive case to the teenager that his development would be best served by playing under Ange Postescoglou at N17, given the youngsters that have thrived under the Australian.
