90 min claim that Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo and Club America’s Sebastian Caceres are among the centre-backs on Tottenham’s radar ahead of January.
Last week, we relayed a report from GiveMeSport which asserted that signing a centre-back is a priority for Ange Postecoglou in January.
The report claimed that Lloyd Kelly remains a ‘serious’ target and that Spurs have made ‘detailed checks’ on the Bournemouth star ahead of January while Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah is also seen as an ‘intriguing option’
The outlet added that Tottenham also have their eye on Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi and Borussia Monchengladbach’s Ko Itakura.
Spurs are looking at Adarabioyo and Caceres
90 min have now backed up Spurs’ interest in both Kelly and Chalobah, stating that the North London club are likely to return with an offer for the Cherries star after seeing their bid turned down in January.
In addition to those two, it is alleged that another English centre-back in the form of Adarabioyo is also being watched by Postecoglou’s men.
Finally, the publication adds that Caceres has also caught the eye of Tottenham, with the club said to be impressed by the Uruguay international’s recent displays.
Spurs Web Opinion
If Eric Dier leaves Spurs in January, which looks like an increasingly likely possibility, I expect the club to sign two central defenders during the window.
