Report: Tottenham are now plotting a double raid of Serie A club

Fichajes have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are plotting a double offer for Juventus’ attacking duo Samuel Iling-Junior and Matias Soule.

Over the last couple of weeks, it has emerged that Iling-Junior, who has struggled for game time at Juve, and Soule, who has thrived on loan at Frosinone this season, are both on Tottenham’s radar (TuttoSport and CalcioMercato).

However, Spurs have plenty of competition for both players, with TuttoJuve (via TMW) claiming recently that Aston Villa and Brighton are on Iling-Junior’s trail while JuveLive said last week that Newcastle and Palace are set to challenge the Lilywhites for Soule.

Spurs could move for Iling-Junior and Soule

Fichajes have now said that Ange Posteocglou’s men are plotting a double offer for the two attackers in next month’s transfer window but they do not reveal how much the North London club are expected to bid.

However, the publication backs up what we have heard from other sources over recent days by stating that Newcastle have now moved into pole position to land Soule.

It is alleged that Juve want €25m (£21.6m) for the Argentine starlet, which the Magpies are willing to pay.

Spurs Web Opinion

Tottenham have a good relationship with the Juve hierarchy, which they could look to use to their advantage to beat other suitors to Iling-Junior and Soule. It appears as if Spurs’ interest in the former is much more serious than their interest in the latter.
