Report: Tottenham are planning to offload these three players in January

The Times have revealed that Bryan Gil, Japhet Tanganga and Djed Spence could all leave Tottenham in January.

None of the aforementioned players started a single match for Tottenham in the first part of the 2022-23 campaign.

The Times state that Tottenham ‘are likely’ to offload Gil and Tantanga in January and would want Spence to go out on loan to get regular game time.

The report does not make it clear whether the Lilywhites are looking to loan out the winger and the centre-back or if they are open to selling both permanently.

This comes on the back of Spanish publications suggesting over recent weeks that Sevilla, Valencia, Cadiz and Real Sociedad have all identified Gil as a target for January (Estadio Deportivo).

Meanwhile, Alasdair Gold said on his YouTube channel earlier this week that there has been no indication to Spence or his entourage by anyone at the club that they are looking to loan out the former Middlesbrough man.

It appears fairly likely that both Bryan Gil and Pape Matar Sarr are likely to be loaned out while I expect Japhet Tanganga to be sold as it does not seem as if he is part of Conte’s plans.

The only question is with respect to Spence and one would presume that he is likely to be loaned out if Spurs bring in another right wing-back in January, which appears to be a certainty.
