Football Insider have now reported that Tottenham are planning on offloading academy graduate, Kyle Walker-Peters, on a permanent deal this summer.
The young right-back was sent out on loan to Southampton in the January transfer window on a six-month deal, but the Premier League suspension means he only managed one appearance at home to Burnley (TransferMarkt).
Walker-Peters started the first three Premier League games of the season at right-back under Pochettino, but was never seen in the competition again. The only football he was given under Mourinho came in a meaningless match against Bayern Munich.
Football Insider claim there were talks of a permanent move to Southampton in January, but they broke down before a deal could be reached. The same publication reported in the last transfer window that Spurs wanted £15m for their man.
The report adds that a source has revealed Mourinho does not see Walker-Peters as a part of his plans for next season, giving the green light for a permanent transfer.
