Report: Tottenham are set to miss out on 23-year-old striker

According to a report by Bild, Nantes striker Randal Kolo Muani, who was rumoured to be on Tottenham’s radar, is heading to Eintracht Frankfurt this summer.

A striker to serve as Harry Kane’s backup is reported to be one of Antonio Conte’s priorities during this transfer window (Telegraph).

Foot Mercato reported back in October that Kolo Muani was one of the players the North London club had their eye on, with Fabio Paratici even alleged to have met with the striker’s representatives to discuss a transfer.

The 23-year-old’s reputation has grown considerably since he broke into the Nantes first-team back in 2018 and he is having another very good campaign for the Ligue 1 club, with seven goals and three assists to his name so far (TransferMarkt).

The French Under-21 international is now into the final six months of his contract at the Beaujoire Stadium.

If Bild’s latest update is to be believed, Kolo Mani is on his way to the Bundesliga at the end of the season.

The report reveals that the centre-forward has agreed on a pre-contract agreement with Frankfurt ahead of a summer move.

Spurs Web Opinion

Kolo Muani was probably not at the top of Antonio Conte’s wishlist. If he was, one would have expected Spurs to make a push for him. As things stand, the North London club seem unlikely to striker before the January transfer window closes.
