Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to invest this summer after a signing drought of nearly 18 months, but they may have to sell some players in order to raise funds.
However, there is quite a bit of deadwood Pochettino could trim from his squad in the next month or so, with two names in particular coming to mind.
While Vincent Janssen did make a return to the first team in the Premier League last season for the final few games, his involvement was minimal.
It felt very much as if Spurs were simply trying to ‘shop window’ the striker after two years out of the side through injuries, lack of faith, and a loan to Fenerbahce.
Meanwhile, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou could also be on the chopping block this summer, with the French winger unable to make an impact in recent seasons.
Nkoudou has also endured multiple unsuccessful loan spells away from the club.
However, the Evening Standard report that Tottenham are finding it hard to shift this duo, as buyers aren’t exactly queuing up.
Should Spurs sell the pair on the cheap and take the losses?
