Report: Tottenham are ‘very hot’ on striker – Liverpool have also been ‘seduced’

Foot Mercato have reported that Tottenham are ‘very hot’ on Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani, while Liverpool are also interested in the Frenchman.

The report claims that several European clubs are following him, with Spurs being interested as early as last summer before he signed for Frankfurt from FC Nantes.

Randal Kolo Muani has eight goals and 11 assists to his name across 23 games in all competitions this season, showing exactly why Frankfurt invested in him and why Premier League heavyweights are now taking notice (TransferMarkt).

In fact, the striker was even named in France’s 2022 World Cup squad for the tournament in Qatar, and he will likely take a place on the bench against Harry Kane’s England this week. Randal Kolo Muani played 90 minutes in France’s loss to Tunisia, and has been on the bench three times.

However, the price tag is apparently set between £51.7m and £69m (BILD via Foot Mercato).

Spurs Web Opinion:

It’s the old debate when it comes to Tottenham. How can you sign a big name when Harry Kane is clearly going to start every game. Randal Kolo Muani maybe falls in that in-between category and can play multiple positions, but that is a huge price tag, in my opinion.
