Report: Tottenham, Arsenal and West Ham fight over midfield powerhouse

Tottenham Hotspur have yet to replace Mousa Dembele in their midfield since the big Belgian left for China back in the January transfer window this year.

Before his sale, Dembele had been a mainstay in the Pochettino midfield for the past five seasons when fit.

Italian news outlet, Tuttosport, now claim that Spurs may be looking at signing AC Milan powerhouse, Franck Kessie (01/07/2019).

The report claims that Spurs are in a race to sign the star with fellow Premier League clubs West Ham United and Arsenal. The Sun also reported a similar story earlier this month.

Spurs would surely have the advantage as they boast Champions League football for next season, whereas their two London rivals do not.

Tuttosport list €35 as a potential transfer value for the midfield man this summer, with the player currently competing in the African Cup of Nations.

The report also claims that Kessie is a perfect player for the Premier League and talks are expected to take place once the Cup of Nations comes to a close.
