Report: Tottenham break world record at their new stadium

Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping to break all kinds of records within their new state-of-the-art stadium, but they have now chalked up their first official Guinness World Record.

The club decided to attempt to pull off the longest-ever line of pancakes at the stadium to commemorate Pancake Day on Tuesday (Tottenham).

The chefs at the stadium were able to make 1,135 individual pancakes on the day, which were all lined up along the East Quarter of the ground.

The world record attempt was successful, as Tottenham beat the existing pancake line length of 130.86 metres. That’s a lot of pancakes!

This marks the very first Guinness World Record inside the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Every single pancake was then immediately donated to two local causes via a London-based charity called The Felix Project, before being used to feed the hungry.

While this is a coll achievement at the new stadium, Spurs fans will be hoping to see more football-related records being broken in the near future, or at least a trophy to add to the cabinet.
