Report: Tottenham Champions League opponents sack their manager

Tottenham Hotspur have left their fans disappointed on numerous occasions so far this season, including against Everton today in the Premier League.

However, one of the lowest points in the season so far for Spurs has to come at home against Bayern Munich in the Champions League in game week two.

Spurs went 1-0 up in the game via Heung Min Son and looked to be controlling the game, knocking on the door of another before Bayern grabbed the equaliser against the run of play.

After that goal, Spurs seemed to collapse, eventually succumbing to a 7-2 defeat at home to the German champions, an embarrassing affair for any team, let alone Champions League finalists.

However, Bayern were on the wrong end of their own thrashing this week as they lost 5-1 against Frankfurt.

The Mirror have now reported that the Bayern manager, Niko Kovac, has been sacked from his role at the club, meaning that Spurs could face a new boss by the time they play the club next in Europe.
