Report: Tottenham chasing €80 million Brazil star

Tottenham Hotspur posted world record breaking profits for the 2017/18 season this week, and some fans will be hoping and praying that Levy reinvests the funds into transfers this summer.

Spurs haven’t purchased a single new player since January 2018, with Lucas Moura transferring from PSG.

However, the Tottenham chairman will likely have to splash the cash next transfer window, with the futures of the likes of Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen full of uncertainty.

There are also a number of fringe players, including Llorente, Wanyama, Janssen, and more who may be on their way out of the club.

According to reports, Tottenham may now be chasing Ajax star David Neres, after having sent scouts to watch Ajax versus PSV.

Neres was said to be worth 50 million Euros last summer, but after fantastic displays in the Champions League and caps for Brazil, his value has risen to around 80 million (Goal Brasil).

Spurs, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Roma, and Milan are all said to be interested (SportWitness).
