Report: Tottenham close in on third signing of the summer

Tottenham Hotspur are said to be closing in on their third signing of the summer in Fulham’s teenage sensation, Ryan Sessegnon.

The Evening Standard state that the two clubs were still in talks on Monday this week, but it is believed that they will settle on a fee of £25m this summer.

This comes as Sessegnon has just one year remaining on his current deal at Craven Cottage, meaning Fulham have to sell up now or risk losing him on a free.

Sessegnon has reportedly already indicated that he wants to join up with Spurs due to the fact that he wants to stay in London and meet up with Pochettino, who has a superb track record when it comes to young English talent (Guardian).

It has previously been reported in the last week that Sessegnon would move for a fee of £30m plus Josh Onomah (Goal), but the Standard deny that.

They say that Onomah may well go to Fulham, but the deals are being kept separate at this stage.
