Report: Tottenham close to agreeing £4m sale of first-team player

After back-to-back loan spells away from the club, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou may now be set to finally secure a permanent move out of Tottenham.

Nkoudou spent two unsuccessful loans at Burnley and Monaco, hampered by injuries on both occasions, making just 11 appearances in total (Wikipedia).

In fact, in his three years at Tottenham, Nkoudou has only racked up 26 matches and one goal for his parent club.

It now looks as if his terrible time in North London will come to an end, as Spurs are said to be close to agreeing a sale.

L’Equipe claim that an agreement with Turkish side, Besiktas, is now close, with Nkoudou set to sign a four-year deal at his new club.

Although Spurs are only set to receive around £4m for the player, Nkoudou hasn’t been in Pochettino’s plans for some time now, so any sale is a good sale. Spurs only paid £9m for the winger back in 2016 (BBC).
