Report: Tottenham come under fire from England national team

Tottenham Hotspur have not only been developing on the pitch over the last decade, but also in terms of the club’s facilities.

Chairman Daniel Levy has worked tirelessly for a number of years now in order to provide one of the best stadiums and best training grounds in world football.

This gives Tottenham a clear foundation from which to build a fantastic and exciting team, while also increasing revenue in the long-term.

The England national team and Brazil have been known to use Spurs’ training facilities in the past, such is their superiority. In fact, Brazil recently used it ahead of the 2018 World Cup (Standard).

However, Tottenham have reportedly come under fire this week for allowing the Women’s USA team to use their facilities ahead of the World Cup.

The Daily Mail say that the decision to let the favourites train at Hotspur Way has ‘irked’ the England camp, and the national team did not know of the arrangement until recently.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I’m not sure why anyone would have the right to be annoyed at Spurs renting out their facilities to a National team. Brazil have trained there in the past in the build-up to a World Cup, and no-one batted an eyelid. I’m sure if the England camp had asked to use the training ground, then they too would have been welcomed with open arms. Everyone has to train somewhere.
