Report: Tottenham could battle Arsenal and West Ham for Real Madrid man

According to Fichajes.net, Tottenham Hotspur are one of three Premier League clubs to have expressed an interest in signing Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic.

Jovic failed to make the expected impact following his big-money move from Eintracht Frankfurt to Real Madrid back in 2019.

The striker spent the second half of last season back on loan at Frankfurt but he has found game time hard to come by on his return to the Spanish capital.

In fact, the Serbian international has not started a single league game under Carlo Ancelotti so far this season (Transfermakrt).

Fichajes.net have now claimed that Jovic is not in Ancelotti’s plans and Madrid are ready to cut their losses on the striker when the transfer window opens.

The report adds that the 24-year-old could be bound for the Premier League, with Spurs among the clubs showing interest in him.

The Lilywhites are allegedly facing competition for Jovic from their London rivals Arsenal and West Ham.

Spurs Web Opinion

Jovic has declined considerably over the last few years and unless Conte believes he can revive the Serbian’s career, the signing would not make much sense. I personally would not take the 24-year-old even as a backup to Kane as I believe there are much better options out there.
