Report: Tottenham could make move for Leeds star this summer

The Telegraph have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on Leeds United winger Jack Harrison ahead of the summer transfer window.

The report claims that Spurs enquired about Harrison’s availability during the January transfer window but Leeds had no intention of selling the player.

Antonio Conte allegedly saw the 25-year-old as a good fit for the left wing-back role in his system while also being able to play as a part of the front three if needed.

The report reveals that Fabio Paratici was alerted to Harrison by Andrea Pirlo, who played alongside the Leeds winger at Major League Soccer side New York City FC.

It is said that the former Manchester City man remains on Tottenham’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window.

The report explains that the Lilywhites will only finalise their transfer targets depending on whether they manage to secure Champions League qualification as that is likely to impact their budget.

Spurs Web Opinion

Based on the players we seem to be pursuing for the wing-back roles, it is clear that Conte wants someone who is capable of beating players in one vs one situations – something that none of our current wing-backs (maybe barring Sessegnon) seem capable of.
