CaclioMecatoWeb have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur could be about to launch an offer for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The report states Milinkovic-Savic is keen to leave the Stadio Olimpico before the transfer window closes and wants to join a club who are in the Champions League.
Juventus are said to be keeping tabs on the 27-year-old, who has been one of the most consistent performers in the Serie A for a better part of a decade.
However, the report adds that Massimiliano Allegri’s side may not be able to afford Lazio’s asking price for the attacking midfielder.
Tottenham are thought to be ready to ‘go to the assault’ for Milinkovic-Savic after Tanguy Ndombele follows Giovani Lo Celso out of the door.
It is alleged that Antonio Conte is a big fan of the Serbian and that the North London club could spend the money they had saved for Nicolo Zaniolo on the Lazio star.
CalcioMercatoWeb suggest that Spurs could launch an offer of €45m (£37.9m) plus a further €15m (£12.6m) in bonuses for Milinkovic-Savic over the coming days.

Milenkovic-Savic would be an outstanding addition and would provide Conte with a lot of tactical flexibility. I believe the Serbian is built for the Premier League and I would even prefer him over James Maddison if given a choice between the two. Given that the 27-year-old just two years left on his contract with Lazio, one would expect him to be available for less than £50m.
