Sky Sports have reported that Tottenham are currently looking at Chelsea’s Kurt Zouma as a possible new signing this summer, which just a couple of weeks left in the transfer window.
However, it is said that Zouma is just one of a number of defenders Fabio Paratici and co are interested in.
Sky Sports have previously reported that Zouma’s preference is to remain in London if he is to leave the Blues this summer, with interest from West Ham United.
Zouma is apparently open to a switch to the Hammers and he remains David Moyes’ side’s top target, but Chelsea’s valuation of around £25m could be an issue.
Despite reported interest from West Ham and Tottenham, Sky Sports also claim that Zouma is happy to remain with Chelsea if a transfer cannot be reached this window.
The centre-back only started eight matches after Thomas Tuchel took over last season, although he did boast an impressive five goals in 24 Premier League appearances last time out (TransferMarkt).
Spurs Web Opinion:
There is just no point. Chelsea will up the price for Spurs and Zouma is good, but not worth overpaying for. I would rather either Tomiyasu or Milenkovic at this point.
