Alasdair Gold has revealed in his column for Football.London that Joe Rodon is attracting interest from clubs in England and France.
Rodon signed for Tottenham back in 2020, but has failed to live up to the early hype, having amassed just 24 appearances for the Lilywhites since joining the club (Transfermarkt).
The Welshman made a decent start to his loan spell in Stade Rennais last season but he spent much of the second half of the campaign warming the bench.
The former Swansea man will find a new manager at Hotspur Way in Ange Postecoglou when he returns for pre-season but it has been suggested that the defender’s days at the North London club could already be numbered.
The Athletic reported last week that Rodon is one of around ten players who are expected to be offloaded this summer as part of a mass clear-out at Tottenham.
Rodon is proving popular in the transfer market
Gold has now confirmed that the 25-year-old will be one of the centre-backs sacrificed by Spurs this summer, along with Davinson Sanchez and Japhet Tanganga.
The journalist asserts that Rodon has already attracted interest, with clubs from the Premier League and Ligue 1 both alleged to be keen on snapping him up.

I am quite surprised to hear that Premier League clubs are interested in Rodon on the back of his struggles to get game time at Rennes.
I suspect the newly promoted clubs such as Luton Town might be the ones who are looking at him.
I personally believe that the 25-year-old should do what Winks did and drop down to the Championship as he needs consistent game time over the next 12 months to get his career back on track and to rebuild his confidence.
