Report: Tottenham eye five more new players for a combined fee of £110m

Tottenham Hotspur got their transfer window up and running in style yesterday, bringing in two signings in the space of just a few hours.

First Jack Clarke signed from Leeds United for around £10m in the morning, returning on loan to the Championship side for next season.

In the later afternoon, Spurs then announced a club record deal for Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon, with the powerhouse joining on a six-year deal.

Football365 believe that Spurs are not done there either, as they claim the club are looking at bringing in a star-studded group of five new players for a combined fee of £110m.

The report names Giovani Lo Celso as one potential new addition, after Spurs had a £53m bid turned down earlier in the window (BBC).

Fulham teenage twins Ryan and Steven Sessegnon are also tipped to make the move over to North London to bolster the defence for the new season.

Meanwhile, Dani Ceballos is named as a potential makeweight in a Christian Eriksen transfer to Real Madrid and Max Aarons could be brought in from Norwich City.

If Spurs could get those five in for just £110m, it would surely be one of the best transfer windows seen by a Premier League club in some time.
