Football Insider have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are plotting a move for Birmingham City starlet Menzi Mazwi this summer.
Although Mazwi is yet to break into Birmingham’s senior side, the youngster has been turning a lot of heads with his performances at youth level over the last couple of years.
Football Insider say that the central midfielder is not just rated very highly at St Andrew’s but also by scouts across the country.
The report claims that Birmingham have offered the 18-year-old a three-year contract but he is yet to make a decision on his future.
Tottenham like the look of Birmingham’s Menzi Mazwi
Following the club’s relegation from the Championship, Spurs are thought to be sensing an opportunity to sign Mazwi for a cut-price figure of just £300,000.
However, the publication makes it clear that Tottenham are not the only one after the teenager, who is also on the radars of Chelsea, Man Utd, Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig.
