Report: Tottenham Fans’ Footballer of the Year for 2020 revealed – Eric Dier third

Football.London have revealed that Son Heung-min has been crowned Tottenham Fans’ Footballer of the Year for 2020 off the back of another stellar 12 months.

The South Korean, who is playing in a slightly more advanced role this season rather than staying out wide, has started the campaign in blistering form and has seemingly taken his game to a new level.

The 28-year-old has already scored 14 times this season and registered another seven assists for his teammates (transfermarkt.com).

Son beat out Harry Kane, Giovani Lo Celso and Eric Dier to the award as the decision was put to a fan vote.

While Kane finished in second place in the voting, Dier edged out Lo Celso for the third spot.

Meanwhile, the report reveals that Mohamed Salah took home the national award on the back of Liverpool’s long-awaited Premier League title win last season.

Jack Grealish, Marcus Rashford, Kevin De Bruyne, and Jordan Henderson rounded out the top five for 2020.

There were only really two candidates for the award and one cannot argue against either of them winning it. It is certainly shaping up to be a fantastic year for the South Korean but he will be hoping to win silverware to add to his individual accolades.
