Report: Tottenham fixture rescheduled for television coverage

Tottenham Hotspur have revealed the Premier League broadcast selection process for the first two match rounds in February 2022 has now been completed, with two of the club’s games selected for coverage.

Spurs are expected to have a busy schedule over the coming weeks and months, particularly after the postponement of multiple matches this month.

The Lilywhites have now learned that their fixture against Wolves has been moved to Sunday 13 February as Bruno Lage’s side play the preceding Thursday.

In addition, Tottenham’s clash against Southampton against which is earmarked for Wednesday, February 9, has also been selected for live coverage on BT Sport.

Tottenham are currently scheduled to take on Manchester City and Leeds United in the second half of February.

However, the club have revealed that the selection for those two match rounds will only be confirmed after the North London club learn their fate in the Europa Conference League.

UEFA are yet to decide on the result of Tottenham’s clash against Rennes, which was called off due to a Covid outbreak at the club.

Spurs need three points in that match to make it to the play-off round ahead of Vitesse Arnhem, who currently occupy second place in the group.

One would imagine that there will be plenty of changes to our fixture list over January and February. Not only could we have additional Conference League games but the Burnley and Brighton matches also have to be fitted in somewhere.
