According to a report from Corriere dello Sport, Tottenham Hotspur have stepped up their interest in Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic over recent days.
The last couple of days have been dominated by speculation linking Spurs with a sensational move for Lautaro Martinez.
Inter have apparently denied the rumours they have agreed on a fee for the 23-year-old, maintaining instead that they want to hang on to the player.
While it remains to be seen whether a transfer to Spurs is on the cards for Martinez this summer, the Inter star is not the only striker the North Londoners have moved for over recent days if Corriere dello Sport’s latest update is to be believed.
The publication assert that Tottenham have also accelerated their pursuit of Vlahovic, who enjoyed a prolific campaign for Fiorentina last time out.
The report reveals that Tottenham have been interested in the Serbian for a long time and they have now made contact with the player’s agent.
However, it is asserted that Spurs have not yet reached out to Fiorentina regarding Vlahovic and the Serie A club are keen to renew the 21-year-old’s current deal.

If we were to lose Kane for a deal in the region of £160m (or £120m plus Bernado Silva), then we can do a lot worse than spending that money on Martinez and Vlhavoic.
Vlhavoic just strikes me as the complete modern-day centre-forward and I can see his value skyrocketing over the next couple of years. I almost want the Serbian more than I want Martinez.
