Report: Tottenham have offered £100m fee to sign two Premier League stars

The Sun have reported that Tottenham have offered a potential £100m fee to Everton for Richarlison and Anthony Gordon.

The offers allegedly comes in the form of an £80m transfer fee plus £20m in add-ons related to appearances made. Tottenham are reportedly hoping this double offer will prove too good for Everton to turn down due to their difficult financial situation.

This comes after Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levy, approved for £100m of the recent £150m ENIC investment to be withdrawn for summer spending this week (Football London).

Levy also reportedly met with Everton chairman, Bill Kenwright, last night for dinner at Scott’s Restaurant, according to former BBC North America Editor Jon Sopel.

This all comes after Sky Sports broke the news yesterday that Tottenham were targeting a double package deal for Richarlison and Gordon this summer.

The Lilywhites want to strengthen their front line with the Brazilian, while adding to their homegrown ranks with the promising young Gordon.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I feel like this may just be a reactionary report based on the news from yesterday. £100m seems like a huge figure for those two players, particularly when Everton are in a worrying financial position. I just don’t see Levy signing off on that figure.
