Report: Tottenham have plans approved to build a new structure next to their stadium

The Athletic have revealed that Tottenham’s plans to build a new hotel next to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has now been approved by the Greater London Authority.

The report reveals that the club plans on constructing a 30-storey hotel next to their stadium in a small plot of land by the junction of the High Road and Park Lane, by the southwest corner of the stadium.

Haringey Council first approved the project in December 2023 and construction can now begin in the near future, with the Greater London Authority now also giving the green light to do so.

Tottenham are set to build a hotel next to their stadium

It is explained that the hotel will consist of 180 rooms, with 49 residential apartments and 64 car park spaces and will be completed before Euro 2028, with the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium set to host a few games in the tournament.

The Athletic explained that since the construction would be done on a small plot of land, the hotel would be built ‘in a distinctive, tall thin style’ and would include an accessible podium, which can be used for community events and to showcase work by local artists.
