Report: Tottenham Hotspur have signed French star on five year contract

Tottenham Hotspur ended their 18-month signing drought today by announcing Jack Clarke from Leeds, but the 18-year-old went straight back out on loan to his old club (Tottenham).

However, Spurs’ first senior signing may not be far away, as RMCSport claim that the North London side have actually completed a deal for Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele.

They say the deal is worth an initial €62 but could rise due to add-ons in the future, with the contract running for five years until 2024.

This comes after The Sun reported that Ndombele had a tour around the Hotspur Way facilities with Mauricio Pochettino last week.

Sky Sports News have also confirmed that Spurs have signed Ndombele for £65m. This makes the French midfielder the most expensive Tottenham signing in the club’s history.

Unfortunately, Spurs have not yet made an announcement, but if RMCSport and Sky Sports are right, it will surely come in the near future.
