Report: Tottenham Hotspur interested in European starlet after £9m bid rejected

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in young Bruges winger Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld, after AC Milan have already seen a £9m bid fail this transfer window (Daily Mail).

The 21-year-old impressed during his Champions League outings this season, especially when slamming home a goal against Atletico Madrid in the group stages.

Groeneveld also made his international debut late last year, earning two caps for Holland, scoring on his full debut against Belgium.

The winger was then cut down by injury in October, and has been out ever since, but that hasn’t stopped immense interest in the youngster.

Manchester City had previously enquired about the attacker back during his NEC Nijmegen days.

This could be just the player Tottenham need, with Heung Min Son and Lucas Moura the only out and out wingers in the first team.

Spurs would have to stump up over £9m for the Dutch starlet though, as Bruges are seemingly determined to stand firm.
