Report: Tottenham in advanced talks with Amazon over fly-on-the-wall documentary

A report from the Daily Mail claims that Tottenham are in advanced talks with Amazon over a possible fly-on-the-wall documentary to be aired in the summer of 2020.

This comes after the overwhelming success of the Man City documentary from last season, with Spurs seemingly next up on Amazon’s wishlist.

This deal would apparently give Amazon access to the club over the remained of the 2019/20 season, with the documentary focusing on Spurs’ campaign, the new stadium, and the club’s link with NFL.

The report states that the documentary will differ from the Man City one, as it will only follow the squad itself minutely over the season.

Amazon are hoping that by taking an NFL angle with the new stadium, the documentary will also appeal to US viewers, as well as those in the UK.

This comes as Amazon are getting ready for their first live stream of 10 midweek Prem games between December 3 and 5 later this year.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Why couldn’t they have done this last season? Imagine a behind-the-scenes documentary about the stadium actually opening and that Champions League campaign. I would have loved to see that!
