Report: Tottenham in the hunt for emerging QPR forward

Tottenham Hotspur may be looking to add to their ranks of young attacking forwards in January, after a successful transfer window in that respect back in the summer.

Spurs signed two teenage wingers in the form of Ryan Sessegnon and Jack Clarke in the last window, although neither has made an appearance in a Spurs shirt as of yet.

The Sun have now reported that Spurs are monitoring Queens Park Rangers’ young and promising forward, Eberechi Eze.

The report labels him as one of the best players in the Championship at the moment, stating that he is on Tottenham’s radar, while Southampton are also said to be keen.

Eze has been at QPR since 2016 after progressing through the Millwall youth system. He has since gone on to play 65 games for Rangers, scoring seven goals in that time (Wikipedia).

He has also represented England six times at the under 20 level.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I have heard great things about this lad and Tottenham could do with some more depth up front to join the likes of Kane and Parrott. It all depends on the cost with this one.
