Report: Tottenham injury update ahead of pre-season tour

Tottenham Hotspur are now just weeks away from their first pre-season match as part of their tour around Asia.

The first scheduled fixture is against Juventus on July 21 in Singapore, with a number of first-team stars returning to training this week in preparation.

Tottenham then play Man United in Shanghai on July 25, all leading up to Aston Villa at home on the first day ofthe new Premier League season.

But, who will make it to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium injury free?

Spurs were hit hard by injuries last season, with Harry Kane alone spending two spells on the sidelines through ankle ligament problems.

However, Football London report that there are only three names currently on the injury list at Spurs, and all three are already on the way back.

Serge Aurier picked up a hamstring injury at the end of last month while playing for the Ivory Coast (ESPN), but he was back on the bench for his side on Monday.

Ben Davies recently underwent surgery on his groin (Sun), but is said to be in rehabilitation at Hotspur Way, while Moussa Sissoko is apparently not suffering from any problems after his early withdrawal in the Champions League final.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I think if Spurs get lucky with injuries, as Man City and Liverpool did last season, they could find themselves up there come the end of the campaign. Fingers crossed!
