Tottenham Hotspur will surely dip into the transfer market this summer after going over a year without signing any new players.

Spurs have had defensive issues in their full-back positions this season, with Ben Davies and Danny Rose not getting any younger, and Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier proving to be liabilities at times.

Tottenham could look to strengthen their left back slot with yet another acquisition from PSG come the summer, following in the footsteps of Lucas Moura and Aurier.

Lucas Moura was in fact the last Spurs signing way back in January 2018.

Current PSG left back Layvin Kurzawa has been warming the bench this season, and Calciomercato believe he could leave the club in search of first team football at the end of this season.

PSG to Spurs seems to be a popular route of late, and Spurs are said to be interested in bringing their third player in from the French giants in as many years.

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. No. We must stop buying PSG reserves if we really want to progress.
The French club are the only ones benefiting.
Aurier has never looked like a competent full or wing back, let alone
a replacement for Walker, while Moura started brightly but is looking
increasingly ineffective, and nowhere near our starting 11 now.
Look, if PSG have long term bench players they are not the sort of
    players we need at Spurs!
