Report: Tottenham linked with Leicester playmaker – But how much would he cost?

Leicester fans could make many arguments that their club is currently a better side than Tottenham Hotspur, despite the Lilywhites qualifying for the Champions League Final in 2019.

The Foxes currently look to be Liverpool’s only challengers for the Premier League title this season and have an incredibly well-rounded and balanced team under Brendan Rodgers.

Spurs have picked up their form under Jose Mourinho though, and would surely be able to boast a bigger spending power and facilities than Leicester.

Football London have reported that James Maddison, Leicester playmaker and goalscorer, is being linked with both Tottenham and Man United.

They also claim that any potential buyer would have to pay at least £60m for the attacking midfielder after his huge rise to prominence over the past two seasons.

However, the Mirror have now reported that Leicester are also looking to tie Maddison down to a new deal.

Maddison has scored seven and assisted three in 17 games for his club this season, as well as being called up to the senior England squad (Transfer Markt).
