After joining Tottenham’s academy from Chelsea in January of 2023, Jude Soonsup-Bell could make a permanent move away from Hotspur Way this summer.

Soonsup-Bell was part of the U21s double win last season
Jude Soonsup-Bell made a switch from the blue side of London to the white side in January 2023. The Daily Mail reported that whilst a deal didn’t include a fee, it did have a sell-on clause.
Further reporting from the Daily Mail at the time of the deal unveiled that Soonsup-Bell favoured a transfer to Tottenham over Manchester City and various European sides who were believed to be interested in the forward.
The 20-year-old striker netted twice in the second half of the 2022/23 season with Tottenham, improving upon that tally last year with ten goals in nineteen PL2 appearances.
Soonsup-Bell was a key member of the Tottenham U21 squad that lifted both the PL2 league and play-off trophy under Wayne Burnett. (TransferMarkt)

Tottenham allow Soonsup-Bell to find a permanent move
The latest report from the Mirror states that Soonsup-Bell has been given the green light to seek a permanent transfer away from Hotspur Way this summer.
The 20-year-old, whose deal at Spurs expires next summer, was previously expected to be loaned out but has now been allowed to leave permanently.
There is a belief that many clubs both in the UK and overseas are keen to sign Soonsup-Bell this summer amid the latest development regarding his Tottenham future.
Spurs Web opinion
It will be a shame to see a player who is so highly rated at youth level leave after failing to make a senior appearance, but the Tottenham first-team and academy is currently full of so much young talent that some were bound to fall by the wayside, as seen by Yago Santiago’s sale to Elche.
My assumption would be Tottenham include either a sell-on fee or buy-back clause in the sale of Soonsup-Bell, who could certainly still have a very successful career.
