Report: Tottenham make attacker their primary deadline day target

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino revealed after the game against Watford that while he expects one or two players to leave the club on deadline day, he is not optimistic about the prospects of bringing anyone in.

However, according to reports Spurs are still looking to add players to their squad before the transfer deadline at 11pm tonight

The Independent report that Hull City attacker Jarrod Bowen is Tottenham’s primary target on deadline day.

The 22-year-old has taken the Championship by storm this season scoring 14 goals so far this season.

Spurs have been linked with Bowen throughout the course of the month but the deal was claimed to have fallen through a week ago. It now appears that it could be back on.

While Bowen is not an out-and-out striker, he does carry a goal threat and could thus prove a valuable addition to the squad with Spurs missing the likes of Kane and Alli through injury.
