Tottenham Hotspur have already made the decision to send Troy Parrott back out on loan next season, according to The Athletic.

The Republic of Ireland international spent last season gaining first-team footballing experience at MK Dons and enjoyed a relatively successful campaign with the League One outfit, having made the semi-final of the play-offs and scored ten goals in 47 appearances across all competitions (transfermarkt).

The 20-year-old admitted he went through a difficult spell earlier in the season having been in and out of the team, but decided to knuckle down and make changes to his habits including sleeping better, eating better, working harder in training and also deciding to not play video games late into the night (The Athletic).

Dane Scarlett, who has been part of the Spurs first team across the last two seasons is also expected to head out on loan this summer with Championship side Preston North End said to have already expressed an interest in the 18-year-old (Tom Barclay).

A loan spell to a Championship club sounds like the most logical option for Parrott next season, having shown he can score regularly in League One and given his previous tough spell Millwall, he now needs to prove he can cut it in the second tier of English football.
